METZGERGRÜN erzählt von Wohnträumen in der Wohlfühlstadt Freiburg im Breisgau. Subtil, bild- und wortgewaltig werden soziale Ungleichheiten und die Frage nach der Würde des Menschen im Kontext von Gentrifizierung thematisiert. Im Mittelpunkt der Erzählung stehen die Bewohner:innen des sozialen Brennpunktviertels Metzgergrün, dessen günstige Mietshäuser der Abrissbirne zugunsten luxuriöser Appartementhäuser zum Opfer fallen sollen.

METZGERGRÜN tells of living dreams in the city of wellbeing Freiburg im Breisgau. Subtle, powerful images and words thematize social inequalities and the question of human dignity in the context of gentrification. The narrative focuses on the residents of the socially deprived neighborhood of Metzgergrün, whose cheap apartments are about to fall to the wrecking ball for luxury apartment buildings.
